Love Letters

Hello everyone! Kanicia and I hope that you are doing good wherever you are. Last week has been a busy one for all of Jehovah’s people and this week looks to continue that trend. There is so much going on at the moment that it’s almost hard to keep up! In this week’s blog post we’ll share some good news in the congregation, our experience with the campaign and how the release of our online teaching guide went among other things. So let’s get to it!

Our congregation, Huelva English has been growing lately. We’ve recently had a family of three move into our hall of which two are pioneering. They are American so now we aren’t the only ones with a funny accent from the states in the congregation. 🙂 It looks like they will be focusing on helping with the territory in Portugal which will be much appreciated. They also increase the amount of children in the hall with the addition of a teenage boy. This is good since it will provide more association for the rest of the young ones in the congregation. We look forward to getting to know this family better as time goes on.

Well, unless you’ve been living under a rock you are well aware that everyone has been asked to participate in a global letter writing campaign in support of our brothers in Russia. We’ve enjoyed being able to have a share in this initiative and we continue to pray along with you for our brothers in Russia. Personally, this has really made me realize more than ever how quickly world conditions can change for any one of us. It has also made me reflect on what pursuits are really worthwhile in this system. As the fragility of this crumbling system is exposed for what it is how happy we are to be able to place our confidence not in this world but rather in Jehovah and his organization. We are all eagerly awaiting the outcome of the trial on April 5th.

On another note, we have been enjoying the memorial campaign invitation. Lately we’ve been preaching in Portugal in the Algarve region. It is such a beautiful area and there are many English speakers to be found. We look forward to continuing to participate in the campaign and we hope that it bears much fruit.

Over the past few months we have been working on a new project which we hope to share with you by the end of the week if everything works out. We’ll reveal it on the blog as well as through social media. I won’t say anymore for now but we’re really excited about it and we hope that you like it.

If you receive our emails then you know that we unveiled our Online Teaching Guide last weekend. It went live on Friday and we’re very happy with it. The guide outlines the top ten companies that you can work for as an online English teacher in 2017. It goes into detail about everything you need to know in order to choose the right company and then how to get the job. We’ve also added an FAQ section at the end where we have answered the most common questions that you wanted answered from the survey and just in general. To be honest the launch did have a few hiccups but like anything it’s better to try and then learn from your mistakes instead of not trying at all. So thanks to some feedback we’ve made improvements and we hope to continue to do so. We are very happy with the response so far to the guide and we hope that it will be of help as you pursue your goals.

For all those who have already purchased the guide or who are thinking about doing so we’ve added a new feature. We will be updating the guide periodically with additional teaching companies, tips and insights that we’ve learned. We hope to make it a comprehensive online teaching guide that will teach you what you need to know from A to Z. We already have several companies in mind that we want to add to profile in the guide. We also would like to make a section in the future on how you can succeed with your teaching job once you’ve got it. All of these updates will be free for life for those who have already purchased the guide. At the moment the guide has an introductory price but as we continue to add content and companies we will likely be increasing the price of the guide. So if your thinking about getting it this week would be a good time to do so because we will be closing access to it at the end of the day on Friday, March 31st. The guide is currently 40 pages and you will receive it immediately after putting in your information via email as a PDF file. If you want to learn more about the guide you can click here.

Well, that’s all for this week. Have a great week everyone. Bye for now!
