More on our arrival

So as you can see we finally made it! As we were on our way, on the bus, I was thinking of all the effort, changes, etc it’s taken just to get to Murcia and really I feel like it has already been worth it. Jehovah has really blessed our efforts thus far and we have been really overwhelmed by the love and support we’ve received from friends we have never met before. For example we spent a week in Madrid with a brother, Alfredo and his sister Susane…we feel like they are already like family despite the fact that they only speak Spanish and we didn’t! By the end of the week we actually were getting by somewhat;)
Another example, we just arrived last night. Right now we are just sitting laying here relaxing at a special pioneer couple’s home, taking a siesta, after having lunch;) This brother has already lined up four apartments for us to see this evening! The couple we are staying with has already arranged for Antoine to meet with an English academy- all this just since last night! Everyone has been truly a testament to the God we serve, where else can you travel across the world to a country whose language you do not speak and have people you do not know invite you into their homes to stay and much more! We’ve come to appreciate our international brotherhood on a whole different level- and this is just the beginning! We hope we can imitate their examples in the congregation and the territory here! We’re ready to get to work!

Antoine & Kanicia

We are serving where the need is great in southern Spain and are actively involved in the TESOL community. We enjoy helping people learn how to teach English and support themselves in another country.
