Spain Bethel

Well we have been busy these last few days. Since arriving in Spain we have had the privilege to stay at the bethel home for two nights and we were able to associate with many bethel family members. Currently at the bethel they are holding two couples schools simultaneously. We were able to spend time with a few of the couples that are currently attending the school and hear about their experience attending the school and the sacrifices that they made to be there. Since the school is being held at the bethel all of the students have the privilege of staying at the bethel during their time attending class. They are required to work every day for a short amount of time in between class times. The bethel in Spain is interesting because it is made up of not only the bethel buildings but also two kingdom halls and one assembly hall. One of the kingdom halls seats over 600 people and is used for assemblies for smaller circuits. We were able to tour the bethel as well as the assembly hall. We learned a lot about the different languages that are served in Spain such as Gaelic, Castilian and Basque. Staying in the bethel home was very wonderful and we got to practice our Spanish since hardly anyone spoke English!

We are serving where the need is great in southern Spain and are actively involved in the TESOL community. We enjoy helping people learn how to teach English and support themselves in another country.
